Natural Pool

.

An ambitious project at the time of execution, this is the very first natural pool within this side of the Tramuntana

.

The most amazing feature, apart from the softness of the chlorine free water, is the literally "immersive" experience of swimming surrounded by nature

.

The design, by a British natural pools' specialist, used the original topography of the plot to house the pool within one of the traditional "marges" or stone wall terraces

.

All the filtration and cleaning is done by the the plants within the pond.

As with a normal pool, there's also a pump and jets system to circulate and aerate the water. But without chlorine or salt it provides a welcome environment for friendly frogs and dazzling dragonflies
